Clay body: Any plastic clay body defloculated as a casting slip. It must be able to be cast into sheets. Plasticity is a must

500 Lincoln Fireclay
500 Zircopax
900-1200 PV Clay
Weigh Dry and add approximately 2 gal. Magic Water. Power mix and screen
30 mesh twice and 120 meshtwice to remove large material: Age for 4 weeks or
longer
MagicWater formula :
3 Gallons Water
30 Grams Soda Ash
50 Grams liquid Sodium Silicate... You may need to increase or decrease here.
Silkscreens: 305 Mesh
Black slip:
1/2 quart slip( the same as your clay body)
90 Grams Mason 6600 Black stain
4-2 oz Duncan Covercoat Underglaze
mix and air thicken
mix with equal part of Gum Arabic (thicken)
