Saucer Production

This video shows the froming of bone china saucers.

This page consists of links to short video clips taken at the factory in Gustavsburg. The videos depict the commercial production of saucers, sinks and toilets. The Making of a Toilet

Part 1
Preperation of the toilet for the glazing robot

Part 2
The computer controled robot glazing the toilet.

Part 3
The glazed toilet leaving the glaze spray booth.

Part 4
The toilet proceeds toward the kiln along a conveyer.

Part 5
The toilet is sent up and over the work floor to reach the kiln.

Part 6
After ten hours of firing in a tunnel kiln using a graduated process starting from ambient room temperature, going to cone 6, and back to room temperature the toilet exits the kiln.

Part 7
The toilet is on the way to quality control.
Sink Molding

Part 1
A brand new molding process using plastic composite mold which replaces plaster molding. Here they open the mold.

Part 2
Here they are removing the sinks and preparing them for the assembly process.
