Lawrence, Ceramist, USA Head of Ceramics Grossmont College, El Cajon, California, USA, organizer of The Water Closet Internet Workshop Journal, Gustavsberg, Sweden Les Lawrence specializes in photo silk- screen printing on clay. His recent works are photo silk-screen mono prints on porcelain and teapots. He has shown and lectured internationally in England, Scotland, Korea, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. He was site co-chair of NCECA 1993 in San Diego. He was organizer and a panelist for NCECA -94 - Viewpoint Ceramics: "The Photographic Image", The International Museum of Print and Clay,and organized and presented for NCECA -99 "Print and Photography Influences in Clay", lecture together with Paul Scott. |
